Each journal is handcrafted by women artisans in Senegal who receive fair wages and skills training. The paper is made from 100% post-consumer recycled materials, and the production process uses natural dyes and water-based adhesives.
A portion of each sale supports Dilulu's paper-making workshops in local communities, teaching sustainable craft skills and providing economic opportunities. To date, our journal program has trained over 25 artisans and diverted more than 2 tons of paper waste from landfills.
